Phases

Phase 1 – Farmers’ Market

Phase 1 included the acquisition of property to build the new Farmers’ Market Facility as well as the conceptual planning and preliminary feasibility study done for the Farmers’ Market. Phase 1 then proceeded with the design and construction of the new Farmers’ Market Facility. Ending off phase 1 and leading into phase 2 was the detailed feasibility study done for the Museum Complex and Performing Arts Centre as well as Architectural/Engineering drawings for Museum Complex and the Conceptual plans for Performing Arts Centre.

Phase 2 -Creamery Square Heritage Centre

Phase 2 includes a renovation of the existing Creamery Building and the construction of the Museum and Archives Facility. Also included in phase 2 is the design and production of new museum interpretive materials, upgrading site servicing, and establishing and implementing our capital fundraising campaign.

Phase 3 – Performing Arts Centre

Phase 3 will include the design and construction of the new Performing Arts Centre as well as complete site landscaping including the development of the Waterfront, Performance Courtyards and Trans Canada Trail.
