National Award for Heritage Centre!
At the annual conference of the Canadian Museums Association in May the Creamery Square Heritage Centre was presented with a national Award for Outstanding Achievement in Facility Design & Development.
The CMA's Award Jury was unanimous in determination that "this project was nationally significant and exceeded the current standard of practice."
Colin Fowlie, Project Manager, was at the conference in St. John's, NL to receive the award, on behalf of the Creamery Square Heritage Society. He says "We're honoured to have been chosen for such a prestigious award and invite potential visitors from Nova Scotia and across Canada to come and see us. If a national judging panel is pleased with Creamery Square, we're certain the public will be as well."
